Bembridge Lifeboat Regatta 1998

The Relief Lifeboat, "Good Shepherd" took part in the annual Bembridge Lifeboat Regatta on Sunday the 23rd August 1998 along with the Bembridge Inshore Lifeboat "Criddy and Tom" and the Coastguard Air-Sea Rescue Helicopter. The August weather had been good to us until Regatta day came. However a good crowd turned out, despite the rain, and saw a fine display of Air-sea rescue techniques.
